Student Only Title and Opening to a
Crime Novel Competition - Win £25

Read the winner of our Book Review competition

To encourage you to write and give you practice at entering competitions we run a student only competition twice a year. It's free to enter and the winner will receive a £25 prize paid by cheque (UK students only) or through PayPal or as an Amazon Voucher but, if you have outstanding course fees we'll take it off your next instalment. Also, the winner will be published on our blog.

This time we’d like you to give us the title and first two paragraphs (up to 300 words) of a crime novel. What sort of crime novel is up to you. It could be a gritty dark thriller, a cosy detective story or even a courtroom drama. It’s up to you. But what it should do is leave us gagging to read more.

Good luck and enjoy the challenge.

The closing date for this competition is 31st July 2019 so you’ve got plenty of time to get your entry in. Remember, there’s no entry fee for this competition but make sure to include your student number along with your name.

Send your entry to: susanm@writersbureau.com
