Another letter published

Susan K - June 26, 2018 writes:

Just when I was feeling inadequate about writing my book I got an email from Readers Digest saying they were printing my letter in their August edition.

I have had about 30 letters published now including poems, ideas, letters to various magazines. it always gives me a huge boost of encouragement to know a least something is attracting the editors, and I have some skills. (Little acorns grow into big Oak trees, so we shouldn't despise the day of small beginnings!) The reward financial or a gift adds to the encouragement factor, apart from seeing our letters in print

Congrats...hope u get many more of such successes!

Alice Vinten Writers Bureau's Student of the Year 2020

“All I knew when I joined up with The Writers Bureau is that I'd always wanted to write and never had the nerve to start. I've been an avid reader from an early age, and 'being a published writer' seemed like an unobtainable dream. The Writers Bureau opened my eyes to possibilities that I'd never considered before - writing for magazines, pitching for non-fiction books, and researching the writing industry. On the 18th April 2019, my memoir On the Line - Life and Death in the Metropolitan Police was published in paperback by Two Roads Books.”
