Plus there are Ten Top Tips on how to create the perfect writing environment, Student Stories to show you what you can achieve, Inspiration to give you something to write about and Useful Websites to help with your research.

END NOTE and a Little Inspiration!

March is a lovely month – we’ve got a number of saint’s days, including the ever-popular St Patrick’s Day to look forward to, not to mention the numerous important religious dates, including Lent, Simnel Sunday and, every chocoholic’s favourite, Easter to celebrate.

March 1st St David’s Day
March 4th 1963 American poet, William Carol Williams, known for modernism and imaginism, dies at the age of 79, following a series of strokes. (An appropriately entitled poem by Williams is below.)
March 21st 1413 Henry V is crowned King of England

So, as the inspiration is centered on March, here’s Williams’ poem of the same name – March.

And now for some light entertainment! This super little game – Big Time Butter Baron – is based on the wonderful Tetris gameplay. And, yes, it is just as addictive!

As always, if you found something of use to you in this issue please pass the word on to all your writer friends – and even those who don’t. You never know, you might inspire them to take it up. They can sign up here.

Until next time, farewell and do lots of writing!
