As The Director of Studies for The Writers Bureau I consider myself lucky because my job is one that for 99% of the time I really enjoy. But what’s not to enjoy? I get the chance to work with writers bringing in new courses which I think students will enjoy and find helpful.
I also get the opportunity to work with our fantastic tutors – and they really are a diverse bunch. They’ve all got unusual interests and different approaches to how they deal with students’ assignments but they’ve all got one thing in common – they want you to succeed.
Last but not least (excuse the cliché), I get the chance to talk to you, our students. We may be the biggest writing college in the UK but we’re still small enough to have a close relationship with our students.
