Chapter and Verse

The Writers Bureau Student E-Magazine

Chapter and Verse is created by students for students and is run on a voluntary basis. It is published in the student community area every quarter.

The topics of the articles and all other content are chosen by the editor and can be related to writing or about something else completely. The editor changes every few issues so those who want to have a go at sitting in the Editor's Chair can put themselves forward for the job.

For each issue you have a chance to comment about the content and theme of the magazine and make suggestions on how to improve it.

It is useful if you feel a little nervous about sending your work to publishers as you can practise submission techniques and build your confidence using other students as a sounding board.

It is also a fantastic opportunity for you to see publishing from the inside. You get to experience the ups and downs of being involved with a publication firsthand, which offers a unique perspective if you choose to get involved.

Full details of how to join-in are available when you enrol.
