Win a How to Write for Competitions Course

Everyone loves a good writing competition. They are fun, exciting and often very rewarding. As well as the pride of seeing your work in print and the kudos of being first, you can win yourself luxury holidays, fabulous gifts, unusual days out, cash prizes or a year’s worth of cat food – the list is endless. But, writing for competitions is a discipline in itself and one that needs guidance and practice. And, who could be better at teaching you all you need to know than two experienced judges?

Our How to Write for Competitions – and win! Course is written by Ian Pattison and Alison Chisholm – two very experienced judges – so you can be sure you’ll get all the hints and tips you could possible need to ensure competition success. And, all you have to do to win this course is follow the 21 clues below, discover the letters, re-arrange them to make a phrase and tell us what it is. Simple! All the correct answers will be entered into a draw to determine who gets the course.

1. Home – paragraph 1 – word 4 – letter 3 Click the Home tab, find the fourth word in paragraph 1 and take down the third letter – you should arrive at the letter i. If you see letters, such as CJ (for Christina Jones) in the clue below, you have to work out what they stand for – don’t worry they are very obvious!

Rules of entry:

1. Entry is free and is open to everyone on the 21st Birthday list.

2. Type your answer into the body of the email.

3. The winners must agree that The Writers Bureau can use their name in promotional activities (including social media such as Twitter, Facebook etc) and on their website for a period of up to two years.

4. Entries that do not comply with these rules will be automatically disqualified.

5. All correct entries will be entered into a draw and the winning entry will be chosen at random.

6. No correspondence will be entered into.

The winner will be announced on 15th October 2010
