The Complainer

Judy B - November 17, 2010 writes:

A certain man joined a monastery. Upon entrance to the monastery he was given this rule. He would be interviewed at the end of each year but he could only say two words.
After the first year the head monk came by to see how things were going for him and he said," bed hard."
After the second year the head monk came by to see how things were going for him and he said," food cold."
After the end of the third year the head monk came by to see how things were going for him and he said," I quit."
The head monk looked at him and sternly said, " I'm not surprised, you've done nothing but complain the whole time you've been here."

You are welcome! How are things for you? I am stuck on assignment 7 but I have some of it done. It's getting tough.
