April Fools

Catherine H - April 1, 2010 writes:

Hi all Was anybody on the receiving end of any April Fool's jokes today, or anyone initiate any? Nothing happened with me, although I do get an email from I want one of those every year where they create strange products and advertise as though they're for sale - this year there was a dog bark translator (which i really wish existed!), the win win reversible supporters shirt, where you can turn the t-shirt inside out to become a supporter of the winning team, and an iphone converter - convert your iphone in to a tablet (the ipad). must be quite fun coming up with the ideas each year :)

Thanks for sharing that with us - I think it's brilliant - especially the reversible t-shirt!

Nothing much happened with me but a few people were driven to their extremes. One teacher I know was called when she was in school and told that there was a robbery at her house and everything lay strewn around. She got terribly scared and started panicking making urgent calls. When she asked as to how the condition of the cupboard was, the person on the other line said that he saw no cupboard, meaning the whole thing was stolen. She rushed home and saw that everything was fine and someone had played a prank. Meanwhile the vice principal had sent men to help her out! I still remember her face when she narrated the whole thing and the embarrassment she must have faced!!!
She almost died of a heart attack!

Oh wow, that is extreme!! I cant imagine anyone doing that. She must have been so p*ssed off with the person who did that to her! Thanks for sharing
