Just a quicky!

Hi everyone, I've just emailed N2 to my tutor and am now moving on to ass 3. I was just wondering what an "open assignment" meant? I don't think it's very clear on the assignment sheet. Is it just one article or filler or letter? Or all three? Or maybe a mixture? Can someone help? Thanks.

Hi Darren Congrats on sorting out your computer problems and getting N2 sent off :) I had trouble intepreting assignment 3 as well. The 'open' part of it just means that you can write about whatever topic you want (which I find really hard!). Also, when it says you can write an article, a reader's letter or a filler, it means that you can write any combination of those styles as long as your TOTAL word limit comes to 2000. I ended up writing 1 short article, 1 reader's letter and 2 fillers. Good luck with it!

Hi Catherine, thank you so much again for your help, I'm sure it will be invaluable! I shall get my thinking cap on, I'll let you know how I get on. Thanks again for the quick reply Catherine.
