Maybe someone else has encountered this: I get these what I think are terrific ideas and then I fail to bring it to a close. Example: I had this great idea for an article on uncanny names people name things, people and places. I begin it but I just can't bring it to a sensible conclusion. I had this other idea for a romantic fiction piece. I knew how the couple met and how it was going to end but just couldn't do an interesting middle. Am I wasting my time on this writing thing, maybe I just haven't got what it takes.Sally G - January 31, 2012 replied:
Its just practice, Even if it doesnt seem too good at the time write the entire article then look it over a day or so later. Most people have what it takes Judy, It just takes effort to learn xxChristina H - February 2, 2012 replied:
I agree with Sally. Finish the article or story and then leave it. The time away will give you a fresh perspective when you return to it. I have often found that it will also jog some new ideas for stories and articles in the future.Judy B - February 2, 2012 replied:

Hi Judy, No, your definitely not alone! I can easily think of ideas to start stories but can never finish anything, i just dont know how to go about bringing the story to a decent close, but thats why i joined the course! so dont be disheartened. I hope i can develop by doing this course as a tool to help me complete my work instead of just having lots of half written peices.Judy B - February 4, 2012 replied:
