Should I be pleased at this...?

Got my first rejection today! Woohoo! I wasn't at all upset, as I expected to be... In fact, it felt as though I'd passed my first milestone as a writer :) Hurray!

That's funny, Emily because I was strangely pleased too! I felt that, even though I was rejected, somebody out there had taken the time to read my stuff and my foot was firmly on the first rung of the writer's ladder! Keep at it. I promise you that things will only get better...

I was exactly the same when I got my first rejection!! its quite exciting, I think it pushes you to do more. Keep going I did and have had quite abit published and only started last August!! good luck.
