On the verge of success...help with editor request

Anna A - June 14, 2010 writes:

Hoping one of you can help. I submitted an article summary to a magazine ages ago and they've just got back to me asking me to expand it and create some "box outs". Although I can guess what they are, how do I present them in a submission? Thanks!

Hi Anna, I answered this for you on the general thread, hope it helps.

Philip E - September 12, 2010 replied:

Hi Anna - a boxout is usually a box separated from the main body of the article that expands upon a particular area of the article. So, for example, if the article was about fishing, there might be a box-out entitled 'choosing the right bait'.
