A Day in the Life of?

Iwona T - July 27, 2010 writes:

Hi Guys Have you come across magazines that have a regular "A Day in the Life of..." column? I've researched loads but to no avail. I've got an interesting idea for an interview so am keen to start on this asap. Thanks

Who are you planning on interviewing Iwona? Do tell.

Iwona T - August 4, 2010 replied:

A funeral director... NB I'm looking for a UK publication...

The Royal College of Midwives magazine does, but I suspect that they would prefer someone related to obstetrics and gynacology, so this isn't a very helpful comment I'm afraid.

Hi Iwona, sorry to come in so late but I have just picked up a copy of Kent Life (part of the Archant group) and they run a 'Day in the life of' feature (this month it's a Dover beef farmer). The editor is Sarah Sturt - email sarah.sturt@kent-life.co.uk and the magazine website can be found at kent.greatbritishlife.co.uk. Not sure where you are based but this is one of a group so there may be a magazine for your particular area. Hope that helps. Rachael H

Hi Rachael, thanks for the tip. I'm based in Dorset and there is an equivalent Archant publication here so will have a look! Thanks again.
