Tales With a Twist

Katia G - July 6, 2010 writes:

Hi, I was wandering if anyone knows of magazines that publish "tales with a twist" stories. I am studying the fiction part of the creative writing course and I love writing this sort of stories but I haven't found yet a magazine that publishes them. Thanks for your help! Katia

Hello Katia. The best ones I can recommend are Take A Break and Take A Break's Spin-off Magazine Fiction Feast. Tale With a Twist is the category they have the most stories of. The Weekly News' fiction section also hosts these.

Hi Chris Thank you very much! I've bought Womens Weekly and a few more but Take a Break is the only one I hadn't tryed yet!! Cheers Katia

Katia,

I sell to The Weekly News - in fact I have a story in this week's issue, so I would definitely give them a go.

You may also want to try Australia's That's Life magazine.

Thank you very much Tina I'll try that too!

It seems easy in the English speaking world , to find mags that'll publish your fiction. It's hard to find that in India! Chin up, however.
