Do I just send it?

If i find a newspaper or e-zine which are ready to receive articles, do i just send the article directly or do i have to send a query or cover letter first?

Hi George - this area should all be covered in the course materials. I would suggest that you find out the publication's submission guidelines (either check their website, or just call the main office number and ask) You very, very rarely just send the whole thing though! Check the course notes though, this is quite a big area of the course. Good luck.
