Hello everyone.

I have recently joined up after many years of 'thinking' about it.

I have now submitted and had my first assignment returned and it has given me the boost I needed.

Now half way through researching for my second assignment and I am having doubts if it is ever going to take shape. I know what I want to say, and the magazine I feel it would be suitable for. But keep going back to the magazine and the panic sets in when you see the quality of the articles already published.

Anyone else felt the same way? and if so how did you overcome the feeling.

Have you watched the movie 'Madagascar'? Just smile & wave, boys, smile & wave ... we all feel the same, just go for it! What's the worst they can say? No. But why be negative? It would be their loss, there's always an audience for you ... just keep going.

Hi, I think it's hard to narrow it down to one particular magazine and topic to cover - that's what I am finding with assisgnment 2 anyway! How long did it take for you to receive your marked first assignment back? Sian

about 2 weeks, which was excellent, and helped get me going again, as like a few have posted on here, I was waiting the feedback to see if it was worth continueing.
