Hello, I have just enrolled this minute!

Lorraine C - August 18, 2010 writes:

Hi, My name is Raine, a 'would-be writer'. With building a career and having a family, I never quite got around to fulfilling my dream of being a writer. I am now a full-time housewife, but with aspirations (hopefully not narcistic ones)! The Doctor's surgery magazine rack was where I discovered the Writers Bureau.. so looking forward to learning how to do it properly.

Welcome, Raine. What course are you studying? You should find the course very enjoyable but be prepared to put in some hard work. Jacqui

Thank you Jacqui, it's the Comprehensive Creative writing course, I considered doing it year's ago but didn't get the time. I'll give it my best shot!! Regards, Raine

Hi, reading your post was like reading about myself! I am also a housewife reinventing my career (well, hopeful career!) in writing! I was formerly in finance so this is very much a change in direction, although I've always dreamed of writing for a living. How old are your children? Amanda
