Return to E-zee Writer back issues

This January we have expert advice from Lorraine Mace on finding expert advice, Ten Top Tips covers writing eye-popping erotica and we also have the usual mix of success, useful websites and inspiration for the New Year.

Once again please do not look at these sites if you are easily offended as I’m carrying on the theme of erotica with some interesting sites to whet your appetite, show you how it’s done and submit your efforts to.

www.erotica-readers.com
A good place to start if you don’t really know what’s expected it is an “international community of men and women interested in the provocative world of erotica and sensual pleasures. This website features original erotic fiction, articles and commentaries; current calls for submissions, and publishing advice for authors” as well as reviews of more risqué items too!

www.jasminejade.com/default.aspx?skinid=11
This is the address for Ellora’s Cave Romantica Publishing. It will give you a really good idea of the themes you can write on and you can read short stories by the authors for free. Don’t be confused by the format – like I was – as it looks like you have to pay but actually the cost is listed as $0.00! They are also accepting submissions on all themes and run monthly contests.

www.speakonlytome.com/stories.html
This website, unusually, focuses on spoken word, however, text formats are also required. You can download stories for a few pounds to listen to – good for research purposes – and you can submit your own efforts for possible publication too. There are short stories, novels and serialisations for you to choose from and, therefore, to have a go at writing too. The ‘Write for Us’ tab features comprehensive details of submission guidelines.

Remember, if you run a website that you think may be of use to our readers, let me know. If I like it, I’ll publish a link to it giving you a free plug. What could be better than that?
