It is not often I mention a poet who’s still alive in the Inspiration section but, when I do I try to find a recording so that you can listen to the poems read in the manner intended by the poets themselves. So, here’s CK Williams reciting at a Technology, Entertainment, Design (TED) conference. If you want to be like CK Williams you should enrol on our Poetry Writing Course. The assignments are open so you are always able to choose what you write your poetry about and your work is marked by experienced poets Alison Chisholm and Lorraine Mace.
I know you’ve concentrated long and hard to take in all the lovely information I’ve given you. So, take five minutes (or 35 if you’re like me) to play Enigmata Genus Revenge, a classic addictive space invaders game, and give your brain a rest.
And finally, if you found something of use to you in this issue please pass the word on to all your writer friends – and even those who don’t! You never know, you might inspire them to take it up. They can sign up here.
Until next month farewell and do lots of writing!
